9 years agoThat’s a very nice bike, great review. It hit’s all the “extras” and performance points: big battery/removable, mid-big motor, hydr brakes, removable display, throttle button, fenders/lights/sturdy rack. All at a reasonable price point of $4k. If only it was unlocked as a 28mph speed pedelec!

9 years agoAs always great review. I just bought this bike so have to say agree with 10/10! They had me BionX D500..
ReplyI think the bike you rode though was actually XU700 — look at the tires. The XS750 uses the Continental….

3 years agoIt seems that BionX D500 battery is failing in many bikes, not holding a charge for instance. What is the fix?

3 years agoHi JVL! I believe that BionX went out of business a while back and their batteries are software locked… which makes repacking them difficult. I suggest contacting OHM directly about this. The BionX product is very high quality, and I believe that they last a long time relative to the average pack (and motor), but when it’s time for replacement, things can get a bit more difficult. Again, OHM is the best point of contact that I know of.
