8 years agoNice job on the review. You covered of the bases and in general, your reviews are getting better. One question – Does the pedal assist have a torque sensor or is it just RPM based?

8 years agoHi Ranny! Thanks, I’m trying to do better at everything but end up short on time with comments, videos, writeups and travel ;) in my experience the Blix models use a 12 magnet cadence sensor that is just RPM based… it’s pretty responsive and you get five levels of assist to adjust how much power is put out by the motor but it does not respond to pedal torque, how hard you push.

8 years agoHi, I wanted to chime in with some quick-release/battery experience with my own bike. I added a quick-release to the seat-post of my Yukon Trail Navigator (with the same battery placement & seat flip-up feature), and initially had the same issue of blocking the battery. Pointing the quick-release forward and down solved the problem, and it was never again an issue. Thanks.

8 years agoGreat point JR, that should solve the issue! I’ve snagged my pants and other gear on quick release levers and bottle cages in the past so I usually opt for down or back. I realize my feedback was a minor gripe and it’s great to hear that you’ve solved the issue with your bike :)

7 years agoAny possibility of updating the review for the new features and updates on the Stockholm for someone who has no access to seeing the bike in person?

7 years agoHi Mlaur, I do my best to review the latest version of ebikes but agree that this one is a bit out of date… and, I have covered about forty new models which I will be focusing on over the next month, but none of them are from Blix so this may not happen anytime soon. You could ask around in the EBR forums to see if anyone from the company or an existing customer can chime in or even just guess and guide you about the latest.
