5 years agoHi Court, Thank you for the review. It is great that you are starting to review some of the new e-road bike specific models. I would definitely love to see you review some of the higher end e bikes from Orbea, Pinarello, Wilier and especially the new Specialized (which have quite the sticker shock factor). It would also be great to see a comparison between the Fazua and Ebikemotion X35 system used on the Orbea Gain. I know it is a bit of a niche market but speaking for myself as an aging road cyclist who still rides everyday, I can see the value of having a very lightweight system that takes the edge off hills and allows you to extend your range for both road and gravel. 5 years agoHi Byron! Thanks for bringing this up… I appreciate you specifying which e-road bikes you’re most interested in and I’ll add that to the list. It feels good to hear your compliments of the site and I’d love to focus on some bikes that you and others are really interested in ;)

5 years agoI am also interested in these bikes. I would love to find something like the Orbea with mounting points for rear rack.

5 years agoHave a 2003 lightweight Carbon bike (Giant) second hand at 9kg. Feeling the need to get an ebike, but they are all so heavy, for me as I am a bit unsteady these days (almost 72). Only ride at 20-22kms average, and really think I will have to take a chance with the Fatzua Bulls Alpine Hawk. Probably is there is no where in the whole of Australia I can look at one, let alone test Ride
Cheers
