8 years agoThank you for the review Court! I’m curious to get your thoughts on the power and speed of this bike vs. the Magnum Peak and how they compare? I like the cleaner cockpit setup on this bike and less wires up front, I like the ability to choose assist modes, a little lighter weight, and it seems a bit more “stealthy”, but trying to figure out power and speed differences between the two bikes and figure out if this one is worth the extra money (is there anything else you get here that I’m leaving out)? Also, I don’t know anything about seats, but the seat on this one didn’t look all that comfortable (I guess I’ll have to read about those a bit as I’m still learning a lot…). Thanks again! Ken

8 years agoGreat question Ken, I reviewed the two bikes far apart in time so my memories aren’t as refined as they once were. The Magnum Peak is a great bike but it’s very similar to the Catalyst here. Seats are easy to replace… what’s more permanent is the color, the dealer network or feel you get from the company, even the display in this case. You have to look further down on the Catalyst but it offers a lot more customization (and I think it just looks cool). I would pretend that performance will be similar and think about the other aspects. Feel free to elaborate and I’ll do my best to share more thoughts or you can ask around in the forums. Both companies are good to work with from my end, friendly people working hard to deliver good customer support :)
